CANDI MILO (LEEZA)
Candi Milo began her professional career singing in theme parks at age 16 (Marriott's Great
America and Disneyworld). At 19 she moved on to cruise ships and was Princess Cruises'
youngest-ever female guest star. During rehearsals as a "New Yorker" for Radio City Music
Hall's Christmas in Los Angeles she took a chance and auditioned for Michael Bennett's Tony
Award winning musical, DREAMGIRLS, walking away with a part in the show. Other Broadway
bound productions followed, including TO SIR WITH LOVE with Stephanie Mills and ELEGIES: FOR
ANGELS, PUNKS AND RAGING DRAG QUEENS with Ken Page and recently Displacement at Pasadena Playhouse. The same chance-taking paid off again as Candi stood in line with 8,000 other young women to star as herself in an NBC/Dick Clark movie-of-the-week called REACHING FOR THE STARS, the first reality TV program. From there it's been career ADD, tons of commercials (Mervyn's Department Stores' "open, open, open" campaign, among hundreds), stand-up
(opening for Howie Mandel, Evening At The Improv), TV (Perfect Strangers, Night Court,
The Tonight Show and recently Wilfred), sketch comedy (The Chuck Rivers Show company
player, The Tonight Show Players, Rick Dees' Show), films (Bad Medicine with Alan Arkin,
Last At Bat on Funny or Die). Finally animation rolled around and Candi has been nominated
for two Annie awards as best actor for her work. She can be heard as the voice of Dexter from
DEXTER'S LAB, Coco, Cheese and Madame Foster on FOSTER'S HOME FOR IMAGINARY FRIENDS,
The Flea from MUCHA LUCHA and literally thousands of other animated shows. In 2014 she was
